As a young teenager, I asked my parents why I had acne and many of my friends didn't, and they told me that it was due to our family genes. That led to me thinking I could do much about it. I tried a couple of creams from the drugstore, but they didn't work very well. Thankfully, I "grew out of it" for a while, but my acne flared up again in my early 20s. This time, I did some research and learned that while genes do play a role in what skin conditions we are prone to, the right skin care can help us overcome them. I visited a dermatologist and he helped me clear up my skin very quickly with just a couple of treatments. I now love learning about skincare, so I want to share all of my skin tips on a blog. Please come back often!
